Columbus Stainless is honored to announce its sponsorship of Jordan Reddy- a fully funded Columbus bursar for his tuition through the esteemed Talent Management Bursary Program. This initiative underscores Columbus's commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the future of South Africa’s youth.
Jordan Reddy, a recent standout graduate, achieved remarkable academic success with 6 distinctions and an impressive overall average of 90.6% in this year’s matric results. His dedication and hard work not only earned him high marks but also secured him the ninth position in the Nkangala District during the results announcement ceremony.
The Talent Management Bursary Program is designed to identify and support exceptional students like Jordan, who demonstrate outstanding potential and the commitment to excel. Through this sponsorship, Columbus Stainless aims to empower students in their pursuit of higher education, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their academic ambitions.
“We want to take a moment to congratulate Jordan on his outstanding matric result achievement and wish him well”, said Johan Strydom, Columbus CEO
“Talent alone has not been the determiner of Jordan's incredible results. Discipline and hard work have surely also played a significant role in his success, and we are proud to see his efforts pay off in such a remarkable way”
The Human Resources General Manager, Jo Mabhena added that this programme is particularly designed to bridge the gap between the academic world and the world of work by providing bursars with a unique experience that offers them experiential learning and support throughout their academic endeavors.
Columbus Stainless remains steadfast in its mission to promote talent development within the community. By investing in education and fostering excellence, the company hopes to contribute to a more skilled workforce in South Africa.
